Having fancy wall decorations doesn’t have to be expensive or take a long time to make. With a little bit of paint you can have new frames and art in just a few minutes.
This frame used to be gold. I sanded it and used some leftover pink from one of my walls. I painted the cardboard backing black with spray paint then let it dry. I used one of the inserts that leg warmers come in as a stencil and painted silver over it. You could cut out any shape that you want though.
To make the next one I would use the bottom of a toilet paper roll, or if you don’t have an empty one you can use the bottom of a paint bottle like I did. Dip it into the paint and just stamp it on your canvas. Super easy!:)
I did an ombre effect from the corner, and it looks great on the green wall in my room.
Guess how I did this one? With my finger! Yes, you can make stylish art for your walls and finger paint at the same time. 🙂 I spread the pink around and let it dry then just painted a green heart over it.
Here are a few of the others my boyfriend and I made.
In the end we got into a paint fight 🙂
Here is my almost finished wall. I got the mirror from my aunt and bought the frames from the good will and painted them. I just need to add a few pictures and it will be complete!
I will do a post about how to make this cute photo holder in the future. 🙂
